The testing methods and requirements for casters mainly include the following aspects:

Rolling test. This is one of the basic tests for casters, with the aim of evaluating their rolling performance. During testing, assemble the casters onto the testing platform to ensure they can rotate freely. Then tilt the testing platform to a certain angle (usually 20 degrees) and conduct continuous rolling tests, recording the rolling time and resistance situation. The testing time is usually 1 hour or longer. Evaluate the rolling performance of the casters based on the test results.
Load capacity testing. This test is used to evaluate the ability of the casters to withstand weight. During testing, fix the casters on the testing platform and gradually increase the load until the casters are damaged or unable to function properly, and record the maximum load.
Lifetime testing. Evaluate the service life of the casters. Fix the casters on the testing equipment and conduct periodic reciprocating motion testing, usually testing 5000 times or longer. Record test data, including the service life data of the casters.
Impact testing. Simulate the impact situations that casters may encounter in actual use. Install the casters vertically on the ground, allowing a certain weight object to freely fall from a certain height and impact the casters. Check the functionality and structural integrity of the casters after testing.
Resistance performance testing. Suitable for conductive or anti-static casters. Keep the casters dry and clean, place them on a metal plate insulated from the ground, and measure the resistance value between the casters and the metal plate.
Reciprocating wear test. Simulate the actual rolling situation of the casters in daily use, including obstacle and obstacle free testing. Check the functionality of the casters after testing.
Salt spray test. Evaluate the corrosion resistance of the casters. Check the corrosion resistance of the surface of the caster material by simulating salt spray corrosion conditions in the environment.

In addition to the above tests, other related tests may also include wear resistance testing, thermal stability testing, safety testing, etc., depending on the application scenario and requirements of the casters.
