National standard for industrial casters

The national standards for industrial casters mainly include:

GB/T 14687-2011 Industrial Castors and Wheels:

Non power driven mobile casters and wheels suitable for industrial vehicles and equipment.
Not suitable for casters and wheels used in furniture, suitcases, etc.
It specifies the terms and definitions, types, dimensions, rated loads, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, and storage of industrial casters and wheels.

GB/T 14688-1993 Industrial casters:

It specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, and storage of industrial casters.
Suitable for mobile casters of unpowered industrial vehicles and instrument equipment.
Not suitable for casters used in various furniture, suitcases, etc.

Additional information:

Castors are divided into movable casters (universal wheels) and fixed casters, which are usually used in combination. For example, a handcart usually has two fixed wheels installed at the front and two movable universal wheels installed near the push armrest at the back.
Castors are divided into soft wheels (with a Shore hardness of less than 90HA) and hard wheels (with a Shore hardness of not less than 90HA) based on their material and hardness.
